Guide Dogs

Guide Dogs

Guide DogGuide Dogs are a world leader in the breeding and training of working dogs. These skilled dogs make a huge difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people, giving these people communication, mobility and independence.

The Guide Dog association will not rest until people who are blind and partially sighted can enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else!

Who?

Volunteers from the Medway Branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and their beautiful puppies will be raising money at Paws in the Park Autumn Show.

What?

The Guide Dog volunteers and trainers will be demonstrating ‘Puppy training the Guide Dog way’ in the Indoor Arena, showing you the skills and rigorous process the puppies have to go through to become a pawfessional Guide Dog!

When?

Guide DogsThe ‘Puppy Dog Training the Guide Dog Way’ displays take places in the arena twice a day only at our Autumn show. Exact times tbc.

You will also have the opportunity to meet some of these amazingly skilled K9's at their stand, and maybe even get a Guide Dog souvenir!
